Ibis® Layout:

Ibis®

How to work out what components you need for your walls:
For Lingerie:

- Allow about 450mm of rail between drop-hangers: this can be varied to suit the merchandise as you use it.

- Allow for up to 3 arms in the height of a long drop-hanger, 2 for a short.

- Maximum capacity for a given wall uses 2 rails one above the other, for instance the top one fixed around 1950mm from the floor, the bottom one 950mm. Like this, a short drop-hanger can then we placed on the bottom rail immediately underneath a long drop-hanger on the top rail.

- Allow for fixing plates to be spaced about 750-800mm apart, the ones on each end of a rail should be placed about 75mm in from the ends, which both looks appropriate and allows a drop-hanger to be placed right on the end if required.

- Glass shelves and H-bars can be substituted for arms in any position with the drop-hangers hung at 450mm apart.

- Rails can be provided either in standard lengths of 1, 2 and 3 metres for you to cut, or we can cut to length to suit your wall-lengths, for a nominal extra charge. 3m is the maximum length, and longer lengths are easily made up of 2 rails butted together at a fixing plate.

If you’d like us to help with the working out:
Post, fax or e-mail us a plan of your layout, indicating which walls are to have the Ibis system and what their lengths are. We’ll work out the suggested rail sizes required, the number of fixing plates for each rail, and the maximum capacity of arms etc., and cost it up for you to decide. There’s no charge for this.

Fixing:
This system is easily fixed by anyone capable of screwing fixing plates to the wall. Sometimes we are asked to provide a fixing service, which we can do through a shopfitting contractor.
